one of the many reasons i hate the stupid place that we call school:
yesterday mrs. eyre told jenny (next year's yearbook editor) and me (next year's co yearbook editor) to hurry and and check out today because we would have to hand out everyone's yearbooks and that she wasn't going to be there but she trusted us completely. check out time was set for after 2hr. so like 9:35ish. when we get to school this morning my art teacher informs us what is about to go down, they were going to call everyone down, have them clean their lockers then let them check out, ok nothing different than usual. but this year there is a catch, our principal mr. green, and counselor, mr. erickson couldn't sign anything until tomorrow, so basically we can't check out until wednesday, therefore we can't get our yearbooks until then either. so what did we do all day? for me personally i took about 15 minutes tracked down all my teachers to sign my paper, argued with an onery old fart of a teacher to sign off my clean locker that i didn't really even use and to sign off that he saw me put my lock in the box. (the locker part took 13mins. of my 15 total) i then checked with the librarian to make sure i didn't have any books still checked out and fees cleared and she also signed off my restitution, what's restitution? i hate to say this but it's the hell of my life. people think of it as a joke now, but that's a story for another day. next stop, office window, secretary signature that i didn't have office fees and a second check of restitution. that's it, i was done, except for an administration signature that we were told we couldn't get until after the honors assembly tomorrow so about 11ish. so i walked around looking for things to do because i didn't think i would have to go back to class, and i knew i had to wait for landon, when i saw mr. e. he loves me, but he's leaving, also another story for another time, i told him that i would be handing out yearbooks all day tomorrow and asked if he would just sign my paper, and that i wouldn't tell anyone. so what did he do? he signed it. he just told me i couldn't hand it in until tomorrow and that was that, i was done. i went and got my yearbook secretly because i can do what i want being the co editor and mrs. eyre's sub loving me :D. i took it over to the seminary building to have bro. t. sign it because this is his last year (he taught my daddio in seminary, it's his time to retire!) and to talk to my other daddio bro. wilkins. as i was sitting there chatting with ryan (brother wilkins, i can't call him bro. wilkins i struggle with that) there was an announcement that we had to go to the last three class of the day. which was a total waste of time because we were supposed to be checked out so no one planned anything so we layed around. i had had enough after going to one class so i talked to the sub (same one who let me take my yearbook) and she said she would mark me there for the next class after lunch. now i had to take care of my art teacher. i had already been there once and didn't want to go back so i went and talked to the wrestling coach, we made a little deal, he would tell her i was helping with register wrestlers for wrestling camp (pretty good excuse huh?) thank you robbie! and i came home and slept. moral of this story, today was a total WASTE! of time. the end.
ps. guess what?! i get to light the b the night of graduation, should be fun?
