anyone who knows me, knows i love pranks! so what better way to become friends with a cool house of boys in our ward? prank war! they have this saying of "everyone's doin it" and they bring it up all the time, so one night while we were there we were teasing them about it being their trademark... then someone said something about a sign to hang on the wall. that's when the idea was born. i called my awesome friend jodi and asked her if she would make a vinyl saying for me when i was home for the weekend. she said yes, so we started scheming. we decided to start out nice so they didn't retaliate too bad at first. so we took their wii sensor (which is a big deal when they live on netflix) hid some candy and hung up the sign while they were at ward prayer.
how did we get in you ask? we told one of the roommates we were just hanging up the sign and that we needed the key... so i ran to home depot and made a copy for the future :)
we didn't hear from them for awhile so i finally gave in and asked if we could borrow the wii for a just dance party. i practically told them it was us and they didn't figure it out. after alot of innuendos they finally got it.
so on tuesday i got a text "did you find it yet" "find what?" i responded. "oh just wait a week or two and then follow your nose" freak i was worried! so we spent about 30 minutes looking around, only to come up empty handed. so we don't know if they were bluffing and the prank was we would tear apart our apartment, or that they really did something? because there is no way they could have gotten in to our locked apartment!
so to get them back, i made a nice little visit to di today. bought a $4 14lb bowling ball. then some petroleum jelly (to make the ball super slippery) and some carrots (to block the holes) and we are going to plant that baby right in their toilet. might i add they only have 1 toilet!
they told us we were but small children messing in a man's game, but they have no idea what we are capable of, the games have only just begun!
ps any and all ideas are welcome!
