jonny boy.

i guess it's time to inform the world of my new best friend. if you recall, i mentioned a boy in my last post, and that boy has become my life. it all started back in august, i had gotten a job for provo city and came up for a football reffing meeting/training before school started. when i was sitting there, realizing i was the only girl, a cute boy wearing a new york yankees hat caught my eye. i made a point to remember his face and to talk to him when i got the chance. a few weeks later i worked with him, he was supervising and probably laughing his butt off while i was reffing. that night when i came home my roommate asked if i worked with any cute boys, i said there was one, but that i didn't know if anything would ever come of it. turns out he had about the exact same conversation with his roommate. the season went on and we both secretly looked forward to working together. conversation came easily and we became pretty good friends, facebook friends even. we slowly go to know each other and realized we have just about everything in common. it was then time for basketball. we had another training/meeting that we all had to be to and i kicked myself in the butt for being too early that i couldn't sit by him. he told his roommate who had just been hired to ref what my name was and that he had been trying to get himself to ask me on a date all of football season. december rolls around and we both end up supervising at provo high school for jr. jazz (there is always just one supervisor so how this happened we still have no clue) but we sat and talked from 8am-3pm. which turned into a date to the hockey game that night. it was alot of fun and i didn't know if it was just him being a nice friend or if it was actually going to go anywhere. he waited a day and then texted me on monday. since then we have talked for hours every single day, and since christmas break we haven't left each others' side. jon proper is the name of this cute boy, he is 23, an only child, and from columbus ohio. he is obsessed with anything ohio state, the columbus blue jackets (an nhl hockey team), and the new york yankees, oh and i can't forget nike shoes (he probably has more shoes than me!) he served his mission in brazil and is going to major in marketing. his dream job would be to do marketing for a triple a or college baseball team. he is seriously the sweetest, most thoughtful, and caring guy i have ever met, and i'm lucky enough to call him mine :)
