year.

it's a brand new year and lots of things are changing around here. i have new classes, a new roommate, the friends i still have from high school are all either leaving on missions or getting married, new age, etc. it's kinda weird that it's 2012, like my youngest brother will be 11 this year weird.
i hope you all had a wonderful christmas. i know i did! i was so glad to be away from provo and to be home with my family, where my mom cooks me good food and does my laundry! i was home for almost three weeks and in that time, i had lunch or breakfast with lots of friends, went country ice skating 3 times, saw a few movies, went to a funeral, dominated at just dance, went snowmobiling, played a few rounds of main street hide and seek, stayed the night at duck creek in a nice cabin, babysat a few times, and you can't forget all the parties for christmas/new years, and family dinners! i also read three books and started two others! it was a great and much needed break to say the least!
now i'm back at school, and for some reason i'm a little more homesick now then i was when i actually moved up here. i've only been here for not even a full week yet and i'm ready to go back home. we have a new roommate, her name is amanda. this is her first ever semester in college. when i first met her i thought she was a freshman in high school, not in college, and to be honest she kinda acts like it too. she was home schooled for the majority of her schooling, so she is lacking on lots of social skills. she was also deprived of tv and store bought candy, so this should be interesting. she is actually in my room roommates stake back home in ohio so they know each other. it should be interesting having 6 girls who actually live, instead of the previous 5 while one was in her room the entire time.
it's kinda taking a toll on our apartment. i sent a text to my this morning telling her that my apartment is starting to look like an episode of hoarders, she texted back telling me not to worry about it or it'll drive me crazy. i told her i've tried but when i can't sit on the couch or down at the table due to everyone's crap there is a problem. these girls might be seeing the very mean side of krystle before long if things don't change.
as far as my classes go, it should be a good semester. i have stats, physc, athletic training, book of mormon, and a recreational management class. i'm super excited about the AT class. for my first assignment in the lab we had to tear an entire roll of athletic tape into small pieces! and in my lecture for the same class there is a very cute byu baseball player :)
that's alot of tape right there! you can see the wii remote is only like a third of it's height... yes i got some blisters hehe (it's not normal athletic tape).
anywho that's about all that's going on in the life of krystle. laters
